Devastating Floods Hit Western Queensland
Western Queensland has faced unprecedented flooding, bringing severe disruption and devastation to the region.
Thargomindah, a small yet resilient community, has borne the brunt of the flooding. Homes have been submerged, infrastructure damaged, and local businesses have faced enormous setbacks. The residents have shown remarkable courage and solidarity in these trying times, but the extent of the damage will necessitate substantial recovery efforts.
The agricultural sector has faced a devastating blow. Initial reports indicate that approximately 100,000 to 140,000 sheep and cattle have perished in the floods. Farmers are grappling with the losses, and emergency services are working tirelessly to provide relief and support.
It is crucial that we band together as a community and provide the necessary aid to those affected.
Loss of Livestock
Kris Jennings & Jennings Bulk Haulage
NDCC is partnering with Kris Jennings & Jennings Bulk Haulage, Beaudesert QLD, to get this support directly to affected famers and locals in the impacted areas.
Donations will directly assist these struggling locals and help give them the practical support and the emotional lift as they work their way through this crisis.
